From 2015 to 2020, the Scottish Film Talent Network (SFTN) offered new and emerging Scottish filmmakers significant support for individual film projects and professional development. Funded by Creative Scotland and BFI – and part of BFI’s UK-wide NETWORK initiative – SFTN was managed by a consortium of companies including DigiCult Ltd.

SFTN’s New Talent Shorts 2017 was a comprehensive short film development and production programme. The initiative targeted Scottish-based writers, directors and producers with the imagination to create thrilling, engaging short films for international audiences.
